Amy Johnson is a nursing home worker and now president of her union local, CUPE Local 3982. She has worked on many different campaigns to improve conditions for the public sector workers and is currently involved in bringing awareness on the need for an increase in care hours in our nursing homes.
“I believe everyone deserves to earn a living wage and a $15 minimum wage would do just that. I would like to use my platform to continue to bring forth the issues that matter most for workers and continue to have our voices heard.” – Amy Johnson
