Joyce is a bilingual Acadian woman born in Lavillette now living in Dieppe.
Joyce has a Law Degree from the University de Moncton and has practiced law in New Brunswick specializing in Family and Criminal Justice. This led to her understanding of the difficulties and shortcomings of our government to take care of some of the most vulnerable people in our society.
Before law, Joyce owned and operated an officially bilingual Early Learning Childcare Centre in Miramichi. With her experience, she will advocate for the childcare needs of this province, including for before and after school childcare at $10/day in the convenience of schools.
Joyce is a single mother of 3 children. Stephanie, a daughter that had to leave New Brunswick to find employment opportunities, Jean-Marc, living with Cerebral Palsy, NB does not offer the services for children living with disability and he currently lives in Quebec to receive this service, and Jonathan, currently trying to make a life here in NB.
